It was a low key return from injury but still the crowds came out for Olympic champion Jessica Ennis-Hill when she competed at Loughborough on Tuesday evening.

Ennis-Hill has been out of action with an ankle injury but showed that she’s still in good form with a personal best in the javelin of 48.33 metres before winning the long jump with a leap of 6.26m.

The 27-year-old has reverted to taking off from her right foot in the long jump. She had switched to her left because of stress fractures to her foot and ankle before the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
