Athletics: I'm a target, says injured Jessica Ennis - VIDEO

ATHLETICS golden girl Jessica Ennis suffered an injury scare during an otherwise sound start to the indoor season.

The Sheffield star felt a knee twinge after the 60m hurdles at the EIS and pulled out of later events.

Ennis, aged 24, a poster girl for UK athletics, is a European and world champion - hotly tipped to land heptathlon gold for Britain at the 2012 Olympics in London.

It is the one medal she does not have after missing the Beijing games through injury.

She recently finished third at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards.
