The 6ft 4inch ex-Nottingham Forest man has been at Saltergate for three years and has been an unchallenged first choice for all of that time.

Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy has given the Irish man a two year deal at Christie Park - he had a year to run on his contract at Saltergate. It's believed that no fee has been involved.

Roche had enjoyed a mixed time at Chesterfield. He made some breathtaking saves in his time, his record in one-on-ones was supreme. However in recent months a few costly errors saw him berated by a minority of fans and a new challenge for him has come as no great surprise.

Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson is now without any goalkeeping experience. First year pro Dan Whatsize is his only keeper so it's expected a senior replacement will be recruited in the next few days.

Coventry have signed goalkeeper Keiren Westwood from Carlisle in a £750,000 deal.

Northern Ireland defender Gareth McAuley has completed his move to Ipswich from Leicester for an undisclosed fee.

Barnet's Jason Puncheon is set to sign for Plymouth in a £250,000 deal when the transfer window opens at the beginning of July.

Proposals to take Bournemouth out of administration have been accepted by club administrator Gerald Krasner. The proposals include an agreement with new partners guaranteeing the future funding of the club and the business plan will be completed and presented to the Football League board of directors in July.

Stockport have signed defender Johnny Mullins from Mansfield.
