DONCASTER Rovers No 2 Richard O'Kelly claimed last night that there was no need for the club to press the panic button despite their worst sequence of results for a decade.
"Nobody plans to lose six games on the trot, but these things happen in life and you've just got to deal with them," O'Kelly said.
"We are in a situation where either we can bury out heads in the sand or face up to the problem of poor results and try to do something positive.
"That is what we are trying to do. We haven't discussed the possibility of trying to bring people in on loan; we've worked on what we did on Saturday at Barnsley.
"All the good things we did at Oakwell went out of the window in the last 20 minutes
"We've tried to resolve what went wrong so that it doesn't happen again.
"If you look at our performances over the last six games, I think in four and a half of them we've performed well and have looked a side which could stay in the division.
"But results haven't gone our way so you have to reassess and look at things then hopefully move forward.
"We feel that 95 per cent of the things that we are doing are okay. If we had have gone 2-0 up and Barnsley's Moore hadn't been sent off I think the game could have been over.
"I think that we are quite a resilient side - we've come back and won many games - and we usually cope with adversity quite well."
