RESCUE dogs Red and Billie were guests of honour at the reopening of a Rotherham store.
The Pets at Home store at Parkgate Shopping Centre was one of the worst hit in last June's devastating floods when the nearby River Don burst its banks.

Now the store has re-opened in new premises at the shopping complex - and bosses invited along the two canine VIPs to perform the opening ceremony.

Red and Billie are looked after by Barnsley Animal Rescue which works to rescue ill-treated and abandoned pets. In return the store made a donation of food to the charity.

Store manager Kim Uttley said: "We decided to celebrate the opening by inviting along the Barnsley Animal Rescue Centre which does such good work."
