Man kicked unconcious in town centre

A MAN was left with a fractured skull after being attacked and kicked unconscious in Rotherham town centre.
The man was with a friend outside Mecca Bingo on Corporation Street when the pair were set upon on Saturday.

His friend managed to run away to raise the alarm in The County Borough pub, but the victim was kicked until he lost consciousness.

De
tectives investigating the incident at 6pm want to hear from witnesses.

Two men, one aged 34 and the other 35, were arrested and released on police bail. The victim is in hospital with a suspected fractured skull.
