AWARENESS of knife crime and personal safety will be on the agenda in Rotherham next week when a campaign is launched in the town.
The event, at Wingfield Comprehensive School, has been organised by personal safety professionals Your Guardian Ltd. Councillors, MPs, headteachers and school governors are invited to attend to hear about plans to launch a nationwide safety campaign.
Your Guardians hope to roll out an awareness programme in South Yorkshire schools and, if successful, make their campaign a national initiative.
