A NEW support group for diabetics has been set up in Rotherham.
The Wath-based Families with Diabetes and their Carers group is for people in Swinton, Wath, West Melton and Brampton.

John Healey MP has agreed to be president.

The group is the brainchild of Susan Braithwaite, aged 56, who came up with the id
ea three months ago.

She said: "There wasn't anything like this locally. I thought we were filling a need. I am hoping the group will mean people can get a better understanding of their condition so they can manage it better, and friendships can be formed."

The group will meet at Wath's Montgomery Hall on dates to be decided.

To get involved call Susan on 07513 908 105.
