A model of Rotherham's new-look town centre will be unveiled to the public next month.
The 9ft by 5ft architect's model of the £2 billion regeneration scheme will be unveiled at Rotherham Show on September 6 and 7.
It will show the town centre as it could look in 20 years time, with new flats, retail development, riverside bars and
restaurants, and office complexes.
It will be the centrepiece of the Services for Rotherham marquee where experts from Rotherham Council and Yorkshire Forward will be available to answer questions about the project.
A series of Renaissance Roadshows are also planned for the coming months at libraries and supermarkets to spread the word about the ambitious town centre plans.
Rotherham Council's strategic director of Environment and Development Services, Karl Battersby, said: "It is important for people to know what's being built in their town.
"Regenerating a town also means changing attitudes and building on people's pride in where they live."
Work has already started on two developments in the Westgate area, and there are plans for major changes to the area around the civic offices in Drummond Street, where there could be a new multi-storey car park and hotel.
The Renaissance Town Team's vice-chairman Mike Smith said: "We've reached the point where we need to hear more from the people of Rotherham on what they want for their town."
