ROTHERHAM snooker star Shaun Murphy hopes he won't have to use a rest - when he takes part in a sponsored five-mile run for charity.
The former world champion, who was knocked out in the second round of the 888.com World Snooker Championship this year, is urging people to join him in the third running of the event on Sunday May 11 in the grounds of Bramham Park, just outside Wethe
rby.
A one mile fun run is also being held the same day.
Last year more than £30,000 was raised for Candlelighters, a charity fighting children's cancer based at St James's Hospital in Leeds.
