SIMPLE Minds' legends are to rock Rotherham United.
Members of the band who scored several number one hits and sold over 40 million records around the globe are celebrating 30 years of making music.

Two musicians at the heart of Simple Minds’ sound, bassist Derek Forbes and Mick MacNeil on keyboard
s, have joined together with Ian Donaldson from H20 to form Four Good Men.

Their show will feature new original material plus classic Simple Minds hits such as Don't You Forget About Me, Alive and Kicking, Waterfront, Love Song and Someone Somewhere in Summertime.

They will be joined by Sample Minds, a tribute act which has attracted widespread praise for its spot-on renditions of the classic tracks.

A spokesman for Rotherham United said: “We are really pleased to be offering this show, which promises to be a great night of music.

“These are the types of events we hope to be attracting to the new suite.”

The bands play at the Rotherham United Suite on Sunday, August 26.

Tickets will be available from the promotions office at Rotherham United. For more information, or to register for tickets, email commercial@rotherhamunited.net or call 01709 512760.
