A HUSBAND and wife team in Rotherham are celebrating looking into people's mouths for 20 years.
Dentists Simon and Clare Hall have been treating families at their busy practice in Barnsley Road, Wath, since the 1980s.
The couple only treat NHS patients - and last year were among the first in Rotherham to be made members of the coveted Britis
h Dental Association Good Practice scheme
Staff and patients joined Wentworth MP John Healey and Alan Tolhurst, chairman of Rotherham Primary Care Trust, to celebrate with a party.
Mr Healey said: "The NHS is built on the commitment of professionals like Simon and Clare and people value in particular these dentists who are loyal to the NHS and offer NHS dental services.
"This is a very welcome chance to thank them for 20 years' service and pay tribute to all they have done for generations of dental patients in the Wath area."
Simon Hall, said: "Our practice is entirely NHS and we have enjoyed treating the people of Wath and surrounding area for the past 20 years.
"We pride ourselves on a very low staff turnover and a personal approach, which we believe has been the key to our success. We have treated grandchildren and in some cases great-grandchildren of some of our early patients."
The practice looks after the teeth of more than 4,000 patients.
Mr Hall has served on the Local Dental Committee, acting as treasurer for five years in the 1990s. He also works at Rotherham Hospital as a locum associate specialist His wife specialises in treating older patients, including visits to patients in their own home and at residential and nursing homes.
