NOT be confused with the giant 3D cinema in Bradford, IAMX is actually the emerging Berlin act featuring former Sneaker Pimps Chris Corner - playing Corporation on Thursday to support impending single The Alternative.
A conflagration of synth-rock, dramatic, heady pop and boasting a "full-on aural and visual attack" live, the band have previously headlined festivals in Europe.

Fronted by Chris, IAMX rush-released their album, also called The Alternative, late last year offering songs of cinematic breadth, drama and a predatory feel.

It's not cookie-cutter music and one brief describes them as "like an '80s electro glam soundtrack to a Jan Svankmajer film or an almost unfathomable hybrid between the sexy swagger of Prince and the cool and collected respectability of Roxy Music."
