BARNSLEY keeper Luke Steele has been hit by a £1,000 fine from the FA.
The 23-year-old admitted, and apologised for, breaking regulations relating to advertising on players' clothing.
The financial penalty came with a warning as to his future conduct.
Steele was spotted displaying a visible but unauthorised logo on an under-shirt during home games against Hull and Leicester in April.
Meanwhile, the arrival of veteran centre-back Darren Moore at Oakwell will not speed Rob Atkinson's departure on loan.
Assistant manager Ryan Kidd said that the 21-year-old would have a full pre-season with the club.
"Rob has a big year in front of him, we will fully assess him to decide whether or not to send him out again," Kidd added.
Atkinson was at Grimsby last season and was wanted back by manager Alan Buckley.
Grimsby have since signed two experienced centre-backs.
"It will be easy enough to find him (Atkinson) a club at that level if we want to," said Kidd.
Simon Heslop looks poised to join Rochdale on loan.
Barnsley will not stand in the 21-year-old midfielder's way.
Barnsley begin their pre-season fixtures on Friday at Buxton and the squad will also go to Glossop on Saturday.
