BARNSLEY owner Patrick Cryne does not expect star player Brian Howard to leave Oakwell in the summer.
Midfielder Howard shot to national prominence with FA Cup heroics against Liverpool and Chelsea and top scoring for the Championship side.

Although he is rated in the £1m-plus bracket and expected to be head hunted this summer, Cryne said: "Brian is happy here. He has not given any indication he wants to leave."

Cryne is spearheading the club's campaign to increase attendances.
Barnsley have cut the price of season tickets by £10, frozen match day prices and will let under-11s into Oakwell free if they are with an adult.

Cryne explained that the new pricing policy was "a major move to strengthen our links with the community."

Tony Mowbray has been named Championship manager of the month for April.
