BARNSLEY have been handed a TV date in November with Burnley after Doncaster Rovers declined to play the derby in front of cameras.
The Reds' home game with Burnley has been switched to Monday November 24 and will be screened live by Sky sports. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.

The TV company wanted to feature Rovers v Barnsley from the Keepmoat at the end of October but it was turned down because Doncaster did not want to play two game in three days.

They play Norwich away on Saturday October 25.

Barnsley were willing for the derby to go ahead on Monday October 27 but regulations require both clubs to agree the date.

Barnsley's first-round Carling Cup tie at Crewe will go ahead on Tuesday August 12.

Police wanted the game to be played the following evening

The deadline for Oakwell season-ticket-holders to claim the seat they had for the last campaign is Saturday.

"We're very pleased with the results from our 'Stronger Together' campaign," said secretary Don Rowing.

"There has been an appreciable increase and if that continues we will have season-ticket sales greater than since the days of the Premiership campaign."

Meanwhile, Barnsley striker Kayode Odejayi was just an interested spectator as Nigeria made it four wins from four in their World Cup qualifying campaign by beating Equatorial New Guinea 2-0.

Barnsley manager Simon Davey was a scorer for Swansea in a Masters tournament against Cardiff.

After defeats by Bristol City and Bristol Rovers, Swansea gained a point from a 2-2 draw.
