Barnsley are set to sign the Derby County right winger Gary Teale on loan.
The former Wigan wide man, who joined Derby a year ago for £600,000, trained with the Reds today as manager Simon Davey looked to cover the month-long absence of Jamal Campbell-Ryce who has a cracked bone in his elbow.
Teale, 30, has 11 Scottish caps but is understood to be among those not in the plans of Derby boss Paul Jewell who was the Wigan manafger when he moved to Pride Park.
