VISITORS had a 'brolly' good time and refused to allow showers to dampen their enthusiasm at the annual St Luke's Hospice summer fair.
Hundreds flocked to Saturday's event and organisers were today hoping to announce they've raised the biggest amount of money ever.

Aimee Ward, fundraiser for St Luke's Hospice, said: "This year's event has taken months to organise and we've had over 100 people helping out on the day, including hospice workers, some of our volunteers and staff from firms including Abbey and Kier Sheffield.

"We usually raise about £10,000 but we're hoping this year's summer fair will have been the best ever."

More than 20 stalls were set up around the grounds and crowds were also entertained with performances from Woodhouse Prize Brass Band and another group Gemolade, which performs cover versions of pop songs.
