BEER, cider and spirits anyone?
This year Sheffield's Steel City Beer Festival had a combination of all three.

The beers and ciders were provided by a host of top local breweries – and the spirits come courtesy of the venue.

This year the popular festival, which has previously been staged in Darnall Liberal Club and St Phillips Social Club, has a new home... in a cemetery.

And beer buffs visiting the marquee in Cemetery Park, Sharrow, might be haunted with a bit of a hangover. Especially if they try the aptly named brew Black Mass at 6.66 per cent abv and the monstrously strong Black Rites at 11 per cent abv.

Dunham Massey's Milk Stout brewed in Altrincham, Cheshire, was named Champion Beer of 2008.Second place went to Thornbridge Jaipur IPA, brewed in Ashford-In-the-Water, near Bakewell, and in third place was Dark Star Hop Head from Anstey, West Sussex.

The Steel City Beer Festival continues tonight until 11pm and tomorrow from midday until 11pm.
