HUNDREDS flocked to a Sheffield park for an annual festival aimed at promoting peace and harmony in the city.
For the fifth year running, the Peace in the Park event held at The Ponderosa in Upperthorpe was hailed a success by organisers hoping to bring Sheffield communities together.
The festival is aimed at bridging the gap between communities by promoting different styles of music appealing to different ages and people from all backgrounds.
There were also dancing displays, including a community African dance performed by Tribe of Gladys, and live music from the Poke band.
And to get people interacting there were also a number of activities and workshops organised, stalls set up in the park and a number of alternative therapists demonstrating their skills.
Money raised at the event is donated to different local charities every year.
Those to benefit this year are Ben's Centre, which offers help and support for Sheffield's street drinkers, Art in the Park, which provides creative workshops for young people in the city's parks and Chernobyl Lifeline, which supports young victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
