Wood not for sale say Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws has nailed up a "Not For Sale" sign to ward off Hillsborough predators.
He says he wants to keep the club's bright young stars...not off-load them.

Laws insists none of his young stars are for sale as the transfer deadline approaches.

The Star has revealed this week how Coventry are in the hunt to sign Richard Wood.

However Laws says: "I saw Chris Coleman at a League Manager's Association meeting a while ago and he asked me about Richard Wood.
"I told him: 'Forget about it, you're not having him but thanks for the interest' and that is the last time I spoke to him," Laws said.
