WHEN Lee Peacock was a Wednesday player he received some leg-pulling from team-mates over his unorthodox dress sense.
But it's what lies on the skin beneath his clothes that is now putting him in the spotlight.

The extrovert striker believes that he is probably the most tattooed player in the Football League. He already had quite a collection of tatttoos when he
was at Hillsborough and has continued to add to it since leaving for Swindon two and a half years ago.

He has 20 tattoos, on his arms, hands, neck, thighs, ribs, back and chest - and is to have another four, on his calves and feet.

"I think I might have more than anyone else; I certainly will have by the time I'm finished," says the 31-year-old former Carlisle, Mansfield, Manchester City and Bristol City forward.

"I got my first when I was on the first year of my YTS (at Carlisl) and everyone said I'd regret getting one.

"But it's all about individuality and being different."

Peacock's fingers carry the date when he met his partner, Esther, and her date of birth plus that of the couple's daughter, Sky.

His other tattoos are just designs dreamed up by his regular tattooist.

"He knows what I want better than I do, so I just let him get on with it!" he said

Peacock spent 18 months with the Owls from 2004 and was a member of Paul Sturrock's promotion-winning side. He left for Swindon on a free in January 2006.
