SHEFFIELD Wednesday fans with an eye for statistics will be relieved their team is at home in Sunday's derby.
You have to go back 41 years for the last time that the Owls won at Bramall Lane.

While Sheffield United have won at Hillsborough three times in that spell, the Owls have to recall the old English Division One game of September 1967 to cherish a d
erby win across town.

More recently, United have had the bragging rights of road wins of February 2006, (2-1) April 2001, (2-1) and March, 1992, (3-1.)

Having said that, the Owls took four points off their neighbours last season.

And they are unbeaten at Hillsborough so far, with three wins and two draws.

So far this year, the Blades are the form team in the Championship, lying in a handy fourth place, two wins off the top spot.

They have won their last three league games scoring seven and conceding only once.

But they have lost more than they have won away in the 2008-9 campaign.

Tenth-placed Owls, meanwhile, crashed 4-0 at Plymouth last time out, yet took seven points from the previous three games.

Both have goalscorers topping their team's personal goals table with four, Billy Sharp and Marcus Tudgay.
