COMEBACK duo Steve Watson and Frankie Simek are giving Wednesday a lift for the Championship run-in - even if they are not plunged straight into the starting line-up against Crystal Palace tomorrow.
Manager Brian Laws welcomes them back to fitness and believes that their presence will spur others as well as widening his options for the last nine games.
Both players want to be in the 16 to face Palace, and Laws said: "They have a massive keenness, but we have to make sure that it's the right time for players to come back and that the're ready.
"It gives us better options and extra quality. If the time is right then to have them back in the squad will be a positive, and that is something I am considering for the weekend.

Simek was out for three months after an ankle injury; Watson was troubled by a hamstring problem for a similar period, though he managed a couple of brief appearances in that period, and the 33-year-old regards it as the longest absence of his career.
He said: "I've had two games in the reserves - one in midfield, one at centre-half - and I feel good.
"I'd like to think I'll be involved in some way on Saturday. The team are playing well, defensively in particular, so I have to be patient - though not too patient as there aren't that many games left!
