Sour losers,

Brilliant!!!

I can definitely now look forward to having flare guns fired from the john street stand/corner as well as loads of liquid being chucked down on us

How on earth have SYP allowed this - with what happened in January 2003

well given that the incident with the flare gun came from the South Stand, and not the John Street stand, but lets not worry about the fact that steps were put into place to stop this, only yesterday when it was announced that the time was changed all the wednesday fans were moaning about the fact it was never on sky at the lane? and now your moaning it is, make up your minds for heavens sake

mind you makes no odds to me as I'll attend both regardless of time or date!

and on your assessment, football fans should never again be allowed in hillborough based on what happened at the Hillsborough disaster, we were punished measures have been taken to prevent a reoccurance and SYP are happy with them! get over it

Will you PLEASE stop refering back to what happend before. It was awful and disgusting and as a Blade of more than 33 years made me ashamed BUT SUFC put in plenty of new security measures last season and I am sure will do the same again this season. No sale of seats in first 3 rows of upper tier, no sale of seats on back row upper tier, high tech security cameras, plenty of stewards and police in ground, security proof tickets AND safety netting above your precious little heads. If Owls fans turn up at the Lane expecting a warm welcome and roses then you need locking up but SUFC will do all it can to protect you. Wednesday fans are no angels, what about the abuse we got leaving HIllsborough last match, what about my young nephew who was threated by a GROWN adult in a Wednesday shirt. Bring on the football, enjoy the banter but say NO to violence.

the should actively force fans to sit together during derby's obviously the first one may become a bit of a blood bath, but after a few years it'll calm down and it'll become a friendly rivalry rather than the currect semi-violent version

interesting thought steggers, but I think some idiots will always remain, and will make it impossible to figure out who caused any problems (and I think having a blood bath to start is 1 bloodbath too many for most people :) )

Glad this has happened so i can watch the game safely from my local boozer, with United and Wednesday fans alike without having to worry about thugs outside the ground wanting to attack innocent fans or without worrying about being p*ssed on or spat on during the game.

yeah true, i personally wouldnt have any problems sitting next to a blunt during a game, even if they scored. End of the day its a game of football, and bragging rights, not the right to punch someone!

theres 2 many idiots who follow both sheffield clubs and its the innocent that get caught up in the trouble. watch the real football factory and u will c that the parents bring up children to be thugs, and also mindless adults who dont care about families and not trouble causing people get painted with the same brush as them, why people want 2 fight over football is beyond me and pretty stupid. glad its on bbc, watch it with a few beers at home

well I never, something I actually agree with you about Steggers.. Its a good job I'm sat down, I think I might even make a note in the diary ;-)

banter and ribbing is one thing, but I really dont understand the point punching someone for not supporting the same team as you (that's what religion is for)
