CLUB captain Lee Bullen has been ruled out of a farewell appearance for the Owls against Norwich on Sunday.
He has been unable to recover in time from the hamstring trouble that reoccurred at Leicester on his comeback last week and forced him to miss the second half.

Manager Brian Laws said: "It's a game too far for Lee. He will be disappointed.

Hopefully at least he'll be able to say he has contributed to making sure we are safe."

Bullen's contract runs out this summer and he is set to be released.
Laws confirmed that Graham Kavanagh is fit, and Sean McAllister is available and back in training, though he had been expected to miss the rest of the campaign because of a calf injury.

Bullen's right-back spot could go to Steve Watson or Jermaine Johnson.

I hate to see Bulen miss this last game,
He's been a great contributor to shefiield wednesday and will be sadly missed,
A great captain, and wherever he may go, Im sure he will succeed,
Up the Owls !

putting out and out quality aside, Lee Bullen was everything good in the Owls. determined, a big heart, organised, a willingness to return quickly from injury, and 100% committed to the cause. sad to see him leave but new, younger talent has to be the way forward. good luck Lee.

Sheffield Wednesday supporters love triers who give 100%, and Lee Bullen always gave both, even when those attributes were sadly lacking in many others around him.

Good luck Lee, and all the best for you and your family in the future.
