A lot is said about the housing market these days, as first time buyers in particular scrimp and save for their 10 per cent deposit.

But this house, listed for sale today, will set you back less than most house deposits. In fact, the whole house can be yours for just £10,000.

That’s the asking price on this three bedroom terrace in Burngreave, Sheffield, as advertised on property website Zoopla.co.uk - which could lay claim to being Britain’s cheapest house.

What do you get for your £10,000? Three bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom, two reception rooms and even front and rear gardens.

With the average house now costing £288,000, it’s certainly a snip.

Of course, it might need a lick of paint here and there...

Have a look at the Youtube clip to see it, or head over to Zoopla.
