A Sheffield woman has been arrested after being found to be nearly six times over the legal alcohol limit behind the wheel today.

The 31-year-old was arrested by police in Sharrow this afternoon, according to South Yorkshire Police.

A tweet by SYP Ops Support said: “Driver arrested today in Sheffield. Unbelievably nearly 6 times the legal limit for alcohol! Will be in custody a good while.”

The legal limit in England is 80 milligrams of alcohol for every 100 millilitres of blood in your body.
