Three internet sensations are set to appear in their own shows at Sheffield City Hall.
Hit vloggers Joe & Caspar, Minecraft expert Dan TDM and vintage-inspired cover group Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox have all announced shows at the venue, making the City Hall becomes a focal point for a new generation of performer.
With more than 27 million subscribers and nine billion views between them, their YouTube channels draw massive audiences. Their performances at the City Hall see them jump off screen and on to the live stage, giving viewers the chance to see their idols perform up close and personal in the intimate Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall.
Flatmates and collaborators Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee have built a devoted online following on YouTube and social media with their outgoing and personal brand of comedy, pranks, challenges and impressions.
They visit Sheffield on October 23 on the back of their second major film as a double act - Joe & Caspar Hit the Road USA. This tour sees the boys talking about their latest adventure and showing exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.
Dan TDM’s online presence is staggering - with more than 20 million followers and almost seven billion views across his two award-winning YouTube channels, he ranks among the most viewed content creators on the planet.
In his first -ever live tour, arriving in Sheffield on September 17, he invites the audience to join him in his online world, meeting characters from his many Minecraft creations and his beloved pugs in an immersive madcap adventure.
Musican, arranger and producer Scott Bradlee formed Postmodern Jukebox with the goal of putting a unique vintage twist on today’s music, performing modern hits in period styles.
Their doo-wop cover of Miley Cyrus’s We Can’t Stop was one of 2013’s biggest viral video sensations, gaining more than 15.8 million views. They have continued to produce videos for their huge online audience, whilst performing live with a rotating cast of talented performers, visiting Sheffield City Hall on March 10.
