Flames can be seen bursting from the windows of a terraced house in Sheffield in this dramatic photo of a blaze this afternoon.
The terraced property was reportedly gutted by the fire, which tore through the home on Hinde Street, in Page Hall, at around 2.30pm today (Saturday, May 20).
Thankfully no one is believed to have been injured in the blaze, according to a local residents who provided these photos.
He said all occupants were reported to be safe but the house had been 'gutted'.
He told how a friend had seen a woman throwing a burning object out of the window, possibly a curtain.
"He called the fire brigade but he thought the fire would probably be out by the time they arrived," said the resident, who asked not to be named.
"The next thing he looked out of the window and there were flames billowing out of the windows.
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue was not available to comment, and the cause of the blaze is not known at this stage.
