Motorists travelling on a Doncaster stretch of motorway are currently experiencing significant delays, following a lorry fire.
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were called out to the blaze which originated in the front cabin of a HGV lorry situated between junction 37 and 36 of the A1M at around 2.35pm.
Three engines from Adwick, Edlington and Doncaster stations were sent out to extinguish the fire, and one remains on the scene now.
There is currently queuing traffic on A1(M) northbound between J35 M18 and J37, A635 (Marr).
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said they did not know whether anyone had been injured in the blaze.
