Reports in the papers show that leaked cables reveal that the UK are secretly discussing giving visa-free access to Britain for one and a half million “Special” Turkish passport holders.

This is part of the agreement that Turkey has to shut down routes for migrants going into Europe.

This is not out and out freedom to come to the UK for Turkish people, but the Government and the EU have deliberately kept it quiet because of the EU Referendum.

The leaked documents claim that the UK has colluded with Brussels in keeping all contentious issues off the agenda until after the referendum.

Seemingly, one message is from our representative in Holland, Sir Geoffrey Adams, in which he states that as far as the Dutch were concerned one of their priorities was to minimise the potential negative impact of the EU agenda on our referendum.

Apparently, he goes on to say that the Dutch have been very helpful to the UK in this context and have alerted the UK to tricky files, and are deferring some issues until after the referendum, because it suited the Dutch to do so.

It sounds to me like there is some collusion to cherry pick what information the British public get to know about the future EU agenda, and to keep things from them which may undermine the Remain vote.

It makes you wonder how much more information is being withheld from the voters by this government, and why some newspapers who support Remain seem not to mention the above either.

We could end up voting to remain, and then find out there is a whole raft of stuff going to happen that was deliberately kept from us, both by the UK Government and the EU.
