Why do we get bombarded on TV by charities wanting donations for hats and scarves for people suffering in the cold weather?
Britain gives millions and millions of pounds in Foreign Aid so why are these charities are asking for our money?
They say the Government will match any donations pound for pound, so how much of British money is really being sent abroad and where does all the cash go?
The Government gives the money to agencies to distribute and of course they have to have a cut for distributing it, then it’s passed on to other agencies who take a cut and so on.
I would like to know how much out of every pound actually does get used where it’s needed and not to give huge salaries to people skimming money off.
It’s about time that charities had to show on every advert how much is used on the ground and how much goes on administration.
