While the decision of Sheffield United to cut season ticket prices next season is a step in the right direction, in my opinion, it does not go far enough.
How about refunding everyone who bought season tickets since we dropped into League One?
Fanciful maybe, but it is a serious question.
Also, West Ham still owe us £14 million over the Tevez affair.
I know the issue is completely separate from League One, but if those two issues are tackled, that would bring the fans together, and may even increase attendances, both in the short and long term.
In short, it would really show that United are a “Family Club”.
The late Mr Dooley would surely approve!
