Here’s a dentists surgery you shouldn’t need to be nervous about visiting - it seems it has the good Lord on-side.
3SL Dental, in Norfolk Street, Sheffield city centre, has been blessed by Father Chris Posluszny, dean at the nearby Cathedral Church Of St Marie.
“Since the blessing the practice has a very positive vibe,” says practice manager Diane Crozier.
Film still moving
IT was the legendary film which featured the Hole In The Road, The Fiesta nightclub and Millhouses Park lido – and said, without irony, that Sheffield was the place to be.
Now 40 years after City On The Move was made, it is to be re-released with its original title and extra footage.
The 1971 documentary had been consigned to history until 1997 when the makers of The Full Monty used it to start the movie.
Since then it has been re-released as The Real Monty by city firm ACM Retro. Now to celebrate four decades, the company will re-release it once more.
The firm is still on the look out for extra footage from the period and asks anyone who may have some to call 0845 6036421.
Live Webb chat
THE legend that is Howard Webb is to give a talk at Sheffield’s Millennium Gallery.
The World Cup final referee will chat on May 18 from 7pm. Tickets £5.
