Stand up and be counted

Have your say

I always thought, in a democracy, I like millions of others who usually vote for the Labour party would be entitled to vote for Brexit if we so wished.

Sadly now thanks to Momentum this is no longer the case.

I am now classed as a racist by Diane Abbott and to the shadow leader of the commons Paul Flynn my opinion counts for nothing compared to the “mature opinion of parliament”.

Should I be surprised?

Since Momentum’s tentacles spread through the party they have made Labour unelectable.

It was going to be hard to win a majority as it was, without any Scottish MPs and the boundary changes that have been proposed.

But why not make it nigh on impossible by electing the friend of Islamic extremists, and champion of mass immigration Jeremy Corbyn, a man who recently having given a speech straight from the 1970s was asked by an ITN reporter what Labour’s plan was should the Government call a snap election.

Cue panic as Corbyn shot off to hide while his praetorian guard chastised the reporter for having asked such a leading question.

His shadow Chancellor is equally ill suited.

This nasty piece of work sheds crocodile tears for the tragic death of Jo Cox but then suggests a female ex-Tory MP should be lynched and this is what passes for politics.

That attitude filters down.

I suppose it saves them from having to explain why a Labour council in Leeds has just completed a billion pounds worth of retail development while this city continues to struggle.

I fear now that come the next election the Labour party will be decimated.

Thank you Momentum.

For those decent Labour MPs hiding behind their settees terrified of Momentum taking over their constituency parties and deselecting them it is now time to stand up and be counted.
