Further to my previous letter on libraries, a few more points I wish to raise.
It would be good if Labour councillors could take the time to defend their policies instead of leaving this to library volunteers.
DBS checks for library volunteers and staff with access to the library IT system would be good practice given the children’s details it contains.
It would also be a good idea surely for the council to pull the plug on Sevenstone given it has failed once, and given the failure in its predictions on visitor numbers for the Moor market.
Librarians would be a much better investment.
