Have your say

As the family carer for my mother, who has advanced dementia, I am only too aware of many of the problems the NHS is now facing.

The NHS is one of the most precious things we possess. It is currently in grave danger from creeping privatisation and chronic under-funding.

This is a crucial moment in its history. Future generations won’t understand if we allow it to be dismantled now.

I am writing to add my support to the demand that the new local Clinical Commissioning Group demonstrate its commitment to the principles of free and universal healthcare by adopting the 38 degrees amendments to their constitution.

Local people have made their views clear and the CSG should now listen and act to protect our NHS.
