Guff makes my eyes roll
The cover of Private Eye and some astute commentators got it right about the pros and cons and level of debate/comment over Europe.
Some of the guff heard from Cameron and Boris Johnson and the climate of fear promoted is enough to make your eyes roll.
I must take to task our very own Veronica Hardstaff for repeating, again, the myth that the EU has kept the peace in Europe and shake my head over the downplaying of NAT0’s role – Major General Julian Thompson blew away that and other myths some time ago.
