Boundary changes

Have your say

It’s clear from talking to people on the doorstep that many people don’t know about the council ward boundary changes that come into effect for the May 5 elections.

That’s unfortunate as these are important elections with all councillors having to stand for re-election. Everyone will have three votes to elect three local councillors and it’s effectively four years’ council elections rolled into one.

With all 84 seats being contested, I hope large numbers of Sheffield people will vote, so that the future council has a feel for the views of local people. You can look at the new wards down to individual street level on the Boundary Commission website via https://consultation.lgbce.org.uk/node/2946
