CROSS-DRESS robber finally behind bars?

CROSS-DRESS robber finally behind bars?

That’s a headline - from Thursday’s Star - that’s always going to grab your attention.

Especially when the accompanying picture, right, showed the crook in question disguised as a woman complete with long blonde wig.

The only problem? Reading the story revealed that it really was a woman - Alison Lee, of Royston, Barnsley. Apparently, she’d actually donned a fake moustache and pretended to be a man.

MUNICH drama left me in tears.

This was the verdict of a Doncaster pensioner after viewing last week’s BBC retelling of the fatal Man United air crash in which her brother died.

Without wishing to be glib, I have the same reaction to most things on ITV.

A READER writes in he was most perturbed to hear Dave Cameron last week tell female MP Angela Eagle to “calm down, dear”.

“It’s less the fact our prime minister is a sexist that bothers me,” says our man. “More the fact he quotes Michael Winner adverts.”

At least George Osborne found the put-down funny. He was shown next to Cammers in hysterics.

And he further proved he has a sense of humour when he left a suggestive on-air message for Radio 5 Live presenter Shelagh Fogarty.

She’d earlier confessed to having an erotic dream about him. Yes, that’s George Osborne, chancellor of the exchequer. Just imagine that dream. On second thoughts... don’t.
