IN 1886 a chap called Tom Potter was awarded a first class award in building construction by London’s Privy Council of Education.
In 2011, his certificate was found in a skip in Crookes Sheffield.
Now, the Sheffield and District Family History Society are trying to trace any relatives it may belong to after it was rescued by a passer-by.
