The Star is giving you the chance to quiz South Yorkshire Police’s temporary Chief Constable Dave Jones.
Mr Jones was drafted in from North Yorkshire Police to take over the scandal-hit force this month.
His arrival follows the suspension of David Crompton on full pay over his handling of the Hillsborough inquests process and the force’s response to the unlawful killings verdict.
In an interview with The Star, the new police chief said the force needed to be more open to the public and reconnect with communities across the region.
Mr Jones will be responding to your queries in a special question and answer session.
This could be on PCSOs, crime in your area, Orgreave, budget cutbacks or anti-social behaviour to name a few hot topics.
What do you want to know about the future of South Yorkshire Police?
Mr Jones will be answering questions from Star readers – so get in touch.
