SIX Muslim youngsters in Sheffield helped a national charity collection which organisers hope will raise thousands of pounds.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, in Attercliffe, volunteered to collect cash for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research at the Wickes stores in the city centre.
Cathy Gilman, chief executive of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, said: “A big thank you to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association UK who helped our charity with the Wickes collection.
“Their volunteers helped us almost 100 Wickes stores across the country and collected a considerable amount of money. This is the second year they have helped with the collection.”
