A SEASONAL collage designed by a young Sheffield hospital patient will bring festive greetings to top politicans and VIPS.
The colourful work of Caitlin Costello, eight, won a competition to feature on Deputy Prime Minister and Sheffield Hallam MP Nick Clegg’s official Christmas card.
Another design by fellow Sheffield Children’s Hospital patient and contest runner-up, nine-year-old Cameron Delaney, features on the back of the card as does information about the hospital.
Mr Clegg, whose wife Miriam is a patron of the hospital, said: “The cards designed by the children were fantastic festive efforts.
“We were so impressed, we chose two – one for the front and one for the back.
“Sheffield Children’s Hospital do amazing work all year round but especially for those children who have to be in hospital over the Christmas period. It’s a cause very close to mine and Miriam’s heart.”
Doncaster MP and Labour leader Ed Miliband’s official card featured a portrait of his family, including sons Daniel, three, and two-year-old Samuel with wife Justine, relaxing at home.
