Have your say

Young bookworms have the chance to give their views on the way Sheffield’s libraries are being run.

Users of the library service aged between 13 and 17 are being encouraged to join a Young People’s Forum.

Coun Isobel Bowler, Sheffield Council cabinet member for culture, said: “Do you love books and reading and want a safe place in your community where you can hang out with friends?

“Do you want to have a say in how libraries could work better for you and are you willing to make your views heard in a group of other young people?

“If so, why not consider joining the forum, which will contributing to influencing library services for young people.”

The Young People’s Forum launches in the autumn and will meet regularly at various libraries around Sheffield.
