YOUNGSTERS who took time out from their studies to be good citizens have been presented with awards for their hard work.

The 10 pupils from Newfield School, Norton Woodseats, Sheffield, were honoured for completing level one of their Lord Mayor’s young citizen’s award.

Coun Sylvia Dunkley, Lord Mayor of Sheffield, presented honours to Benjamin Swann-Ward, Wendy Winks, Cody Phillips, Jordan Thorpe, Ethan Booker, Abid Ali, Courtney Birks, Joseph Sockett, Matthew Winfrow and Daniel Gelsthorpe.
