X Factor at Sheffield Arena
They entered The X Factor for fame and fortune and although there was only one official winner, this year's finalists were all living the dream in Sheffield last night.
Joe McElderry may have landed a 1 million recording contract and a Number One hit with his first single after winning the last series of the popular TV talent show, but all the contestants were given a taste of his success when they performed to a packed out Sheffield Arena on the national tour.
Lucie Jones, Stacey Solomon, Lloyd Daniels, Jamie Archer, Olly Murs, Danyl Johnson and twins John and Edward all relished their chance to shine, enjoying the adulation of thousands of adoring fans that many pop stars take years to acquire.

After a lively group opening number, Welsh teenage heart throb Lloyd Daniels was the first to hit the stage with his cover of Justin Timberlake's Cry Me a River.
Next to take centre stage was rocker Jamie Archer, who belted out I've Got A Feeling by the Black Eyes Peas, and when he urged the crowd to get up on their feet they didn't need asking twice.
When he said "We're gonna raise the roof" he wasn't wrong.
He slowed the tempo for his second number, I'm Sorry, but tenacious twins John and Edward - got the crowd back on their feet again with their unique versions of Under Pressure and Rock DJ.
But it was their Ghostbusters track which had to be seen to be believed - while the twins were flying through the air from the centre of the Arena the main stage was taken up with a giant inflatable Marshmallow man, almost touching the Arena roof, a mummy and ghosts.
Former teacher Danyl Johnson walked onto stage to a roaring reception singing Prince's Purple Rain before performing Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror and With a Little Help From My Friends.
Young mum Stacey Soloman, who came third in the TV contest, had the crowd spellbound with her versions of Who Wants To Live Forever, Nobody Said It Was Easy and This Wonderful World.
Welsh wannabe popstar Lucie Jones transformed herself from a quiet girl from the valleys into a rock chick for her performance of the Guns n' Roses hit Sweet Child O'Mine.
X Factor runner-up Olly Murs lived up to his showman reputation getting fans dancing along with him to Twist and Shout and Superstitious.
But it was X Factor winner Joe McElderry who many fans had come to see.
The loudest applause of the night came when he sang his hit single The Climb after telling his army of fans how the song had changed his life.
n WE don't even know which acts will be featured on this year's Britain's Got Talent show.
But Sheffield Arena is already selling tickets for the live tour of the ITV hit which last year unearthed global superstar Susan Boyle and the dance group Diversity.
The show will be stopping off at Sheffield Arena on Tuesday June 29.
Tickets priced 32.50 are on sale now at the arena box office, online at www.sheffieldarena.co.uk or by calling 0114 2565536.
