Wrestling superstars FREE tickets offer - VIDEO

WRESTLING bosses have had their arms twisted to give Star readers a credit crunching FREE ticket offer to see TV superstars in action.

Big names of WWE, ECW, WCW and TNA fame – including The Sandman and Jerry Lynn – will battle at 1PW's To The Extreme event, at Doncaster Dome, next Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19.

Click the green button to watch video of Sheffield boxing hero Ryan Rhodes squaring up to 1PW wrestlers in our fun ticket offer announcement.

The Star-backed show is sponsored by Sheffield-based metals recycling company Sterling Commodities, owned by brothers Steve and Craig Eyre, in Heppenstall Lane, Attercliffe.

To help families with the cost they have now bought hundreds of tickets to give away in a buy-one-get-one-free offer – exclusive to Star readers.

Simply quote "Star Offer" at the Dome box office – 01302 370777 – and for every 30 or 25 ticket you buy for this event you will get another up to the same value for free, subject to availability, terms and conditions. This offer only applies to new sales from today.

Steve said: "There's a credit crunch and we want to help. Millions watch wrestling on TV but we want to give folk the chance to see the real big names performing live and make 1PW the future of wrestling in Britain."

Sterling Commodities also sponsor Sheffield's British and International light middleweight boxing hero Ryan Rhodes. He joined Steve for some tag team fun to launch the ticket offer with 1PW wrestlers The Shooting Star Kris Travis and masked marvel El Ligero – who got him in a head lock after he said wrestling was "easy" compared with boxing.

Rhodes said he wouldn't be sacred to step in the ring against any of the wrestlers.

"You never know what might happen. If I get invited I'd love to. I think it would be pretty easy actually. They don't take the big knocks as we do. But it's great entertainment and I love watching it with my two kids at home. I'll definitely be ringside,'' he said.

1PW General Manager Jon Aspey said: "Sterling Commodities are helping us to change the way wrestling works in this country. In Doncaster we will be making a huge announcement about bringing one of wrestling's biggest ever superstars to Sheffield. To guarantee a place at that you need to be at the Dome next weekend."

To The Extreme will feature James "Jim" Fullington – The Sandman, Balls Mahoney, Jerry Lynn, Nigel McGuinness, Nova, Little Guido, Kid Kash, Too Cold Scorpio, Kevin Thorne, The Blue Meanie, Ulf Herman, current 1PW champion Sterling James Keenan and many more.

Shows are Saturday, April 18, from 6pm and Sunday, April 19, from 4pm, with other events planned. Evening show tickets are 20, 35 and 50 each day and may be subject to a booking fee. Other VIP packages and sponsorships are also available. Call Doncaster Dome Box Office, 01302 370777 or 01482 217469. More details at oneprowrestling.com and 1pwonline.com
