Disabled people who are having problems with their personal assistants are invited to a free workshop in Sheffield.

Disability Sheffield said many people living with disabilities in the city can feel frustrated and isolated when problems occur with personal assistants.

A conflict management training session will take place next Tuesday, September 16, at The Circle, Rockingham Lane, in the city centre, from 10.30am to 3pm.

Tess Daly, peer coaching and mentoring project co-ordinator at Disability Sheffield, said: “Unfortunately problems can arise, and the interactive session will provide help, support and advice, which will help problems to be resolved amicably.”
